Vanier Canada Graduate Grants
The ”’Government of Canada launched the Vanier Canada Graduate Awards -Vanier CGS program in the year 2008”’. The program is designed to attract and retain world- class doctoral scholars by offering them a significant financial award to help them during their studies at Canadian universities.
Vanier scholars demonstrate leadership chops and a high standard of scholarly achievement in graduate studies in the social lores and humanities, natural lores and engineering, or health- related fields. The Education donors admit $50,000 each time for three times. And once completely enforced, the program will support up to 166 scholars annually.
The Vanier CGS program helps Canada’s universities attract excellent doctoral scholars from across Canada and around the world. And these promising scholars help produce a dynamic and innovative terrain on Canadian university premises. But the Vanier education pertained to the Rhodes education of Canada.
The Vanier CGS program honours distinguished Canadian dogface and diplomat Major-General the Right Honourable Georges Philias Vanier 1888-1967, who served as governor general of Canada from 1959 -1967.
Vanier Canada Graduate Literacy is administered by Canada’s three civil exploration granting agencies (the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Lores and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and the Social Lores and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC)).
Vanier CGS appointees are estimated by agency-specific multidisciplinary peer review panels.
